Erin Fahey is a Research Specialist II in the Stancill Lab in the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at MUSC.
She is a native to the Philadelphia area and received her B.S. in chemical biology from Saint Joseph's University in 2019.
Before moving to Charleston, SC, Erin worked for over three years as a research assistant at the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research in Wynnewood, PA, where she was interested in defining the roles of polyamines in cancer and immune biology and in finding potential therapies targeting pathways related to these polyamines.
She is an expert in mouse handling and colony maintenance, various injection and blood collection techniques, animal surgeries, tissue culture, and a number of biochemical and molecular biology assays.
She joined the Stancill lab at MUSC in November of 2023.
